You Should Know the Biggest Drawbacks with Mavic3

Even while the Mavic3 has a lot going for it, it doesn’t mean it’s a great drone. At least according to the leading drone service companies. However, the new DJI drone does not appear to provide what we all expected. And there is no rationale for the significant price hike.

After all, nothing is perfect, is it? Here are some of the challenges you could encounter with the DJI Mavic3. Therefore, before looking for aerial surveying, let’s know the drawbacks.

    Expensive

Let’s be honest: the DJI Mavic 3 isn’t for everyone. This isn’t a $500 drone, like its smaller sibling, the DJI Mini 2. Because this is a professional-grade device, it has several functions that are only available in top-tier UAS.

The issue here is that DJI’s new flagship consumer drone costs three times as much as the original Mavic. The new DJI Mavic 3 costs $2,199, which is three times the price of the original Mavic. As a result, everyone would conclude that the product’s quality had increased in every way.

    Combo Packages

This DJI Mavic 3 Fly More Combo includes the $319 carrying case I mentioned before. But what if you don’t need it? It also comes with a $179 lens, for a total of $498 that you would be paying extra for specific items you would never use. The Fly More combination with other drones, such as the Mini 2, offers a good value.

However, due to the Mavic 3’s significant price rise, not everyone can afford to spend that extra money. So, don’t forget that this is a professional drone, a tool for work, and certain businesses. $800 might be the difference between receiving the drone they require and not.

    D-Log (Just at ISO 400 – 800)

Here’s the issue with D-Log in Mavic 3. For whatever reason, they have limited this mode to ISO settings ranging from 400 to 800, limiting our dynamic range possibilities. Some professionals in the industry have pointed out that the D-Log mode in the Mavic 3 isn’t all that bad.

And that we can usually make it work in our projects. However, that limitation will make all the difference in other situations, preventing you from achieving the desired results.

    Active Track

If the aircraft detects an item while flying and it is inside the safety radius of the drone, it will limit its speed to roughly six mph. The Mavic 3’s safety radius is 4 feet (13 meters). So if the barrier is outside that distance, the drone will fly at full speed.

But within that ‘bubble,’ it will fly significantly slower. When monitoring an automobile, the system performs well most of the time. This is even though the choices to modify location fail on occasion. Even though the Mavic 3 has a top speed of 37 mph, it will only reach 27 mph while tracking a car (or any fast-moving target).

Return to Home in Advance (ARTH)

Another major issue has connected to what we see on television. When the light is low, a notice appears that says, “Ambient light too low.” The vision system and obstacle detection are not accessible. “Fly with caution.” will appear on your device.
